Unity Statement services
Effective date:
This overview covers unitystatement.org. It does not replace another service’s notices or change permissions previously given for a different service. Feature-specific notices preserve the purpose, recipients and permissions for each request; participation does not grant every program or partner access to every record.
Endorsement and publication
Unity Statement provides adult personal endorsement after assent and duplicate/abuse screening, a receipt with a private removal link, and organization endorsements with email confirmation and independently reviewed authority. Acceptance does not verify identity or email ownership. Official-role claims remain independently reviewed; the service also provides, optional display and updates, separate coalition and logo permissions, and signature management. Public-office directory information is separate from private supporter information. Publication is consent-aware, with current-trustee badges and an independently released general list.
School-board requests and connected services
The school-board campaign uses Google address suggestions when available; selecting a suggestion is optional. Choosing Review my message separately starts Census district lookup, followed by message review and authorization. Requests to activate an unavailable district are separate from advocacy messages.
ICDSoft processes current email and hosts reply and privacy mailboxes; earlier Brevo processing is described in the privacy policy. Processing, queueing, provider acceptance and recipient-server delivery are distinct; reading or a response cannot be guaranteed.
